AARP lobbies for senior citizen benefits at the national, statewide and local level and is a social group with service to others in mind. It meets 9:30 a.m. to noon the second Monday at the Community Room at the Fernandina Beach Police Department, 1525 Lime St. Call John Megna at 277-2143.
ASUA hosts meet-and-greet
A small crowd of seven students mingled with members of ASUA yesterday afternoon in the Student Union Memorial Center. The informal mixer made senators available to answers students' questions about running for a senate position next semester.
Christmas parade entries wanted for Dec. 6 event
